North Park Neighborhood Plant and Craft Sale- We NEED YOUR HELP!
North Park Neighborhood Council’s 1st Annual Plant and Craft Sale!
We need donations of plants, plant starts, veggies, crafts, and baked goods to sell. We also need to borrow a couple of card or banquet tables to put our sale items on. We are looking for volunteers to help with the sale, to pass out flyers door to door, man (woman) the sale table, help set up and break down, as well as the most important part: donate plants, and items to sell. The money raised from the plant sale goes toward the purchase of food and beverages for our 1st Annual Neighborhood BBQ and Potluck which will be held on June 19th at the Tot Lot.
We would love to have folks come and bring some of their extra plants to sell, we are hoping that the neighborhood gets to keep half of the sale from each person’s plants for the BBQ fund. If you are making crafts, we would love to get a portion of the profit, after materials are paid for for the same goal, buy food to feed the neighborhood in June. Want to make brownies, cookies, turnovers, etc.,? We would love to sell them as well, same rule applies, we take a portion of profit after food costs are paid….
We need to hear from you, if you are interested, curious, etc.,
Here is a partial list of what is up for sale as of Thursday 4/8/10

Hi there,
The Bell family will bring Mint plants, sprout growing jars, & flower seeds. We will commit to donating 20% of sales to the BBQ fund.
We may get ambitious & bake, no promises. However, if we do…there is a really great recipe that we love that is a East Coast favorite, called Candy Cake, which a peanut butter & chocolate layer cake.
