Kent North Park Neighborhood

The City of Kent recently announced the date for this year’s business recycling event at Russell Road Park.

The event, held this year on August 11, gives business owners and residents a place to bring some of those hard-to-get-rid-of items, such as scrap metal, broken electronics and refrigerators.

Unfortunately, the city can’t accept fluorescent lights, paint or hazardous material, among other things.

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
