Kent seeks input on future growth strategies
Are you happy with the way Kent is growing, or do you think changes are in order?
That’s the question city officials want residents to consider as part of an annual land use, zoning and growth review.
Kent’s Economic and Community Development Department needs input from the public on what the city should be focusing on in terms of future growth, according to a news release.
“We need to know if the comprehensive plan and development regulations create any barriers to the city growing responsibly, equitably, and with environmental and neighborhood sensitivity,” Planning Director Fred Satterstrom said in the release. “This is the community’s opportunity to participate in making changes.”
