HCC to host candidate forums on Monday, Tuesday

The ballots are out in the mail (and maybe at your house), but there’s still a chance to ask questions of some of the candidates from various local races.
Highline Community College is hosting a candidates forum on Monday and Tuesday in Building 7 on the college’s Des Moines campus. City Council candidates from Des Moines, Federal Way, Kent, Normandy Park, SeaTac and Tukwila have been invited to take part in the forums.
The forums start each day at 10 a.m. They are free and open to the public, and questions from audience members will be taken during the forums.
Students in HCC’s American Government classes are presenting the forums.
