North Park Hero – Snow Hero
When the snow started coming down hard on Wednesday January 18th, North Park one neighbor who sprang into action when he noticed that the snow wasn’t going to stop anytime soon and nobody was gonna clear the roads in our neighborhood. North Park was on it’s own to find a way out to cleared roads with some snow, but drivable conditions. Nathan on 2nd Ave North took to the streets of North Park between Wednesday and Thursday evening to clear the streets of snow and ice as best he could with his snowplow. The snowplow is a small size front loader which Nathan made a snowplow blade for after our last winter snow here in Kent.
I got several emails asking; “who was the guy on the snowplow, and does he work for the city?” One email he dubbed him, “Vigilante Snow Fighter Mobile Snow Plow Guy!” So if you know Nathan, give him some thanks for making out lives a little easier during SNOWMAGEDDON 2012.
